Every man is half female

by Brother Kurzon and Sister Usha

Divinely Female

Modern science teaches that the genetic code of life (DNA) is carried in packets called chromosomes. A person's gender is determined by which chromosomes are present in a person's cells. If a person has two of the so-called "X" chromosomes, she is female. If on the other hand, the person has one "X" and one "Y,"  he is male. Thus, one must conclude that a woman is 100% female, but a man is 50% female and 50% male.

This fits in very nicely with what we believe about male and female spirituality. Women are designed to be mothers. Over the course of history, women have acquired other roles as well, but the basic blueprint of the female body and the female soul is constructed around motherhood. A woman's heart is filled with love because of the need to care for her offspring.

Men, however, were hunters for the majority of the time that humanity has existed on this planet. Men's job was twofold: 1) provide food for his wife and children, and 2) protect his wife and children from harmful predators (whether animals or other men).  Note that in both of these roles, he is acting for the benefit of the woman, assisting her in her job of caring for the children. But the male roles required the man to go out and danger more frequently. Thus he quite naturally needed to be more aggressive than the woman.

But the man is half woman. Thus he is capable of the female emotions of love and affection, caring about his offspring. He is born with this energy, but inasmuch as he lacks ovaries, cannot produce it himself.  He must therefore turn to woman periodically for fresh doses of feminine energy. If he does not do this, the male half of his personality takes over and he becomes irritable.

What happens during sex is that the man returns to an environment similar to the place he was created. He spent the first nine months of his existance inside a woman, and he must enter one once again. Feminine energy usually lies sleeping within the woman's body, but the presence of the man inside her wakes up that energy. He is bathed in feminine energy, thus replenishing this within his own soul. Thus both the man and the woman benefit. She benefits by having the energy coursing through her veins in the active state. He benefits by restoring the balance within his soul.

Maleness is a necessary part of society. Human culture would stagnate and rot without the male tendency to reach out and explore new things. But men should never forget the feminine side of their own psyches, the need to love and be loved. They need this to help them decide what is and is not worthy of fighting for.
